Bob = y
Son = z
x = 25 + y
y = y
z =y - 27
x + y + z = 100

Bob is 34. since his father is 25 years older, his father is 59. Since his son is 27 years younger, his son is 7.
34 + 59 + 7 = 100

Let Bob's father's age be F

Then Bob's age = F - 25

Bob's son's age: F - 25 - 27, or F - 52

All ages total 100, so: F + F - 25 + F - 52 = 100

3F - 77 = 100

3F = 177

Bob's age: 59 - 25, or

Bob's son's age: 34 - 27, or
