Jack is 4 times as old as Lacy. 6 years from now the sum of their ages will be 67. How old are they now?
--------
Equations:
j = 4L
j+6 + L+6 = 67
======
Substitute for "j" and solve for "L"::
4L + 6 + L + 6 = 67
5L = 55
Lacy = 11 yrs (her age now)
-----
Jack = 4L = 44 yrs (his age now)
