It is given that the sum of their ages is 70 and the difference between their ages is 32.

Let the age of Mrs. Bai be "x" and the age of Jenni be "y"

Thsi implies

x + y = 70 and
x - y = 32
------------- [ solving both the equations simultaneously]
2x = 102

==> x =

==> x = 51

Substitute this x in any one of the equations to get the value of y.

51 + y = 70

y = 70 - 51

==> y = 19

Hence, the age of Mrs. Bai is 51 years and that of Jenni is 19 years.

Hence, the solution.
