L - lloyd's age
Three years ago...(M - 3) and (L - 3)
..Maris was three times as old as Lloyd...(M - 3) = 3(L - 3) equation 1
Three years hence...(M + 3) and (L + 3)
..she will be twice as old..(M + 3) = 2(L + 3) equation 2
Solving the two equation:
equation 1: M = 3L - 6
equation 2: M = 2L + 3
