Answer by josgarithmetic(39618)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
b brenda, p paul.

Now: b=4p
Five years the future: b+5=3(p+5).

b+5=3p+3*5
b+5=3p+15
b-3p=15-5
b-3p=10

So having b-3p=10 and "Now: b=4p", can you finish?
