Let sister's age = s
Man's age = 3s

Man's age 2 years ago = 3s - 2
Sister's age 4 years ago = s - 4
*
By condition, 3s - 2 = 5 * (s - 4)
3s - 2 = 5s - 20
3s - 5s = -20 + 2
-2s = -18

*
Present age of sister = 9 years
and man = 3*9 = 27 years
