The age of Mrs. Flores is 8 years more than three times her daughter's age

ten years from now Mrs. Flores' age will be 5 years more than twice her daughter's age

Question states*** ten years from now...

 (3x+10) + 10 = 2(x+10) + 5

  3x + 20 = 2x + 20 + 5

      x = 5, daghter's age.  Mrs Flores is 25
