Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x = jack
y = lacy
x = 2y
46 = (x+8)+(y+8)
Substitute x
46 = 2y+8+y+8
46 = 3y + 16
30 = 3y
y=10
x=2(10)=20
Jack is 20, Lacy is 10
