Let Carlo's age be C
Then Mira's is C + 12

3(C + 4) = 2C + 32 ----- Cross-multiplying

3C + 12 = 2C + 32

3C - 2C = 32 - 12

C, or Carlos' current age =

Mira is currently 20 + 12, or years-old
