f = s + 27
f+10 = 2(s+10)

Substitute and solve for "f":
s+27 + 10 = 2s + 20

s + 37 = 2s + 20
s = 17 (Son's age now)

Solve for "f":
f = s + 27
f = 17+27 = 44 (Dad's age now)
