Since 7 years ago he was half the age of 12 that means that he was 6. But he was 6 seven years ago. So to figure out how old he is now you have to add 7 to 6 and you get 13. The answer is 13 years old

This is how old he was seven years ago. 12/2=6 This is how old he is now. 6+7=13
