= 87
a + b + c = 3(87)
a + b + c = 261
:
Her second exam score was 7 points better than her first,
b = a+7
or
a = b-7
:
and her third exam score was 4 points better than her second exam.
c = b+4
:
a + b + c = 261
Replace a and c
(b-7) + b + (b+4) = 261
3b - 3 = 261
3b = 261 + 3
3b = 264
b = 264/3
b = 88
