That said, if you mean "how old was I when you were born", then there is a way to calculate it.

A = one person's current age
B = another person's current age
.
In five years from now..
A's age will be A+5
B's age will be B+5
A+5 + B+5 = 45
so
A + B = 35
.
Now the tricky part is to figure out what the person said.
It appears to be: 1/4 of my present age = twice your present age.

1/4A - 2B = 0

A -8B = 0
.
(35-B) -8B = 0
35 -9B = 0
35 = 9B
9B = 35
B = 35/9 = 3 8/9
