J+25 = 3(J-10)  Solve that and get 

It doesn't come out a whole number of years.  But it's correct.
Because if James is  now, in 25 years he will be .
10 years ago he was  and if you multiply  by
3 you will get .  So  is correct if you
copied the problem correctly.
