Hi,
Let x represent the time it would take working together
Question states. Per hour being the equalizer.
1/5 + 1/7 = 1/x Multiplying each side of the equation by 35x so as all denominators = 1
7x + 5x = 35
12x = 35
x = 2.92hr , time it would take working together
