Doe's age = x+5
Ron's age =x
In nine years Doe's age = x+5+9->x+14
In nine years Ron's age = x+9

Equation: 




4x+56=5x+45

x=11





11+5=16



Hence, Ron is 11 years old and Doe is 16 years old.
