Answer by palanisamy(496) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the age of Bob = x
Then the age of Jim = 4x
Also, In six years Jim will be six more than twice Bob's age.
4x+6 = 2(x+6)+6
4x+6=2x+12+6
4x-2x=12
2x=12
x=6
So, the age of Bob = 6
the age of Jim = 4x = 24
