I saw someone solve this equation using divison. However, I am not used to that method. Could you show me how to solve it using exactly what's there, multiplication? Thanks.

translates as
(i)

Zack is also 3 years older than Salaman
translates as
(ii)
-----
actually substitution is better here.
put (i) into (ii) to get
(iii)
subtract s to get
(iv)
and now divide to get
(v)
This means that salman = 1 and zack = 4
