Mallory is 23 years older than Lisa. Draw a graph showing Mallory's age as a function of Lisa's age for the first 40 years of Lisa's life. Find the point on the graph when Mallory is twice as old as Lisa.

Mallory's age = Lisa's age+23
If we have Mallory as y
and Lisa as x
y=x+23

To mark the point when Mallory is twice the age of Lisa
take a line vertical from x axis at 23 and horizontally from y axis at 46
