Answer by Paul(988)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Bob is 4 years younger than 3 times Jerry's age. Together their ages add to 32. How old are Bob and Jerry?
Jerry = x
Bob = 3x-4
x+(3x-4) = 32
4x-4+4=32+4
4x=36
4x/4=36/4
x=9
3x9-4 = 23
Therefore jerry is 9 years old and bob is 23 years old.
