Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x+8=4/3(x-6)
x+8=(4x-24)/3
3(x+8)=4x-24
3x+24=4x-24
3x-4x=-24-24
-x=-48
x=48 years old now.
Proof:
48+8=4/3(48-6)
56=4/3*42
56=168/3
56=56
