Let x=Maria's age
Then x+2=Xul's age
Now we are told that:
x+x+2>32 or
2x+2>32 subtract 2 from each side
2x+2-2>32-2 collect like terms
2x>30 divide each side by 2
x>15-----------------------------------------------Maria's age
So, Maria's age has to be greater than 15
