To solve this problem, you should first turn it into an equation. Start with amy+bea+cea=10w. Then plug in what you know. You know that amy=2w and bea=cea. So plugging this into the original equation you get 2w +cea+cea=10w , Or 2w +2cea=10w. Then to get w on one side, subtract 2w from both sides and get 2cea=8w. Divide each side by 2 two isolate cea and get cea in terms of w. cea=4w!
If w+4, then simply plug in 4 for w. cea=4w=4(4). 4x4=16. So cea is 16.
