Diane is 15. Her father is 45...There is a 30 year difference.
When Diane is 30 her father will be 15 years older. He will be 60.
So
Diane will be 30 when her father is twice as old as her.

Diane is 15
Her father is 45
The diffrences in age is 30yrs.
twice the DIFFERENCE is her fathers age=60.
Then divide by 2 for her age from her father:
60/2=3.
So
Diane will be 30 when her father is TWICE AS OLD AS SHE IS.
