20 years ago, Christian was 2 years older than Cynthia and twice as old as Cynthia.


Hence, as your common sense tells you, 20 years ago Christian was 4 years old
(while Cynthia was 2 years old).


Hence, now Christian is 4+20 = 24 years old.    


It is ALL what we can conclude from the problem.


How old was Christian on his wedding day, we can not extract from the problem, 
since it does not say when (or how many years ago) the wedding event was happened.
