In 15 years, Ivan will be two-thirds as old as his father.
I + 15 = (f+15)
Multiply by 3 to get rid of the denominator
3(I+15) = 2(f+15)
distribute
3I + 45 = 2f + 30
3I - 2f = 30 - 45
3I - 2f = -15
replace f with 2I from the first equation
3I - 2(2I) = -15
3I - 4I = -15
-I = -15
mult by -1, therefore
I = 15 yrs is Ivan's age
then obviously, 30 is father's age
