M is x+75 now
4(x-2)=x+75-2=x+73, because it was 2 years ago.
4x-8=x+73
3x=81
x=27
Eduardo is 27 years old ANSWER
Meredith is 102 years old

2 years ago, Meredith's age was 4 times Eduardo's age. Let their ages 2 years ago be x and 4x.

The difference between their ages 2 years ago was then 4x-x=3x.

But the difference in their ages 2 years ago (as always) is 75 years:

3x=75
x=25

So 2 years ago their ages were x=25 and 4x=100; their ages now are 27 and 102.

ANSWER: Eduardo is 27 now
