When Jessy was 12, her mother was 35. Now, her mother is twice her age. How old is Jessy?

An older person is twice as old as a younger person when the younger person is
the same age the older person was when the younger person was born.

Jessy's mother is 35-12 or 23 years older than Jessy. So Jessy's mother was
23 when Jessy was born.  So Jessy is now 23 and her mother is 46.
