Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
now you are x on the second.
five years ago, you were x-5 and your mother was 2(x-5)-14 or 2x-24
now your mother is 2x-19
so x+2x-19=146
3x=165
x=55 years old, your age on the second. Your mother is 91
five years ago, when you were 50, your mother was 86.
