Jamie is now 3x
in 12 years, Aimee will be x+12 and Jamie 3x+12
3x+12=2(x+12)
x=12 years Aimee now and next year she will be 13, ANSWER.
She is 12 and Jamie is 36
in 12 years they will be 24 and 48.
