Let Shiela is x years old;  then RJ is 2x+10 years old.

    RJ  was  ((2x + 10)-10) = 2x  years old;

    Shiela was  (x-10) years old.


    2x = 3*(x-10)

    2x = 3x - 30

    30 = 3x - 2x

    x = 30.


ANSWER.  Shiela is 30 years old.
