Let x be the son's age; then your age is 3x, according to the condition.


Also, the problem says that

    4x - x = 33.


Hence,

    3x = 33  and  x = 33/3 = 11.


Your son's age is 11;  your age is 4*11 = 44.


ANSWER. You are 44 years old.
