Hence, the sum of their ages is  114/3 = 38.


From 38, subtract 4; you will get 34.


Now, imagine that instead of Jason you have another person, Mason, who is 4 years younger than Jason.


Then Anne + Mason = 34 and Anne = Mason.


Hence, Anne is 34/2 = 17 = Mason, and Jason is 4 years older.


ANSWER.  Jason is 21 years old.
