john is 15 years younger than jill 12years ago.
Jo = (Ji - 12) - 15
Jo = Ji - 27
jill age is 1.5 times that of john.
Ji = 1.5(Jo)
in the first equation, replace Ji with 1.5(Jo)
Jo = 1.5(Jo) - 27
Jo - 1.5(Jo) = -27
-.5(Jo) = -27
multiply by -2
Jo = 54
Jill is:
Ji = 54 + 27
Ji = 81 yrs old
