The correct solution is below:

R = 6*J R+12 = 2*(J+12) ========> 6J + 12 = 2*J + 24 4J = 24 - 12 = 12 J = 3 ====> R = 6*3 = 18. Answer. Richie is 18 yeras old. Julie is 3 years old.
