Question 1115095: edwin his father and his grandfather have an average age of 53. One-half of his grandfather's age, plus one-third of his father's age, plus one-fourth of edwin's age is 65. Of 4 years age, Edwin's grandfather was four times as old as Edwin, then how old are they all now?
Answer by addingup(3677)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"Of 4 years age, Edwin's grandfather was four times as old as Edwin"
So, when Edwin was 4 his grandfather was 4 x 4 = 16? That is not possible in humans, very few men are fathers at 16, let alone grandfathers.
