.
Harry + Henry + Harvey = 77

x     + x/2   + 2x     = 77

Multiply both sides of the equation by 2. You will get

2x + x + 4x = 154

7x = 154  ====>  x =  = 22.

Answer. Harry is 22, Henry is 11 and Harvey is 44 years old.
