Cesar is 70 years younger than Holly. 7 years ago, Holly's age was 3 times Cesar's age. How old is Cesar now?
Let Cesar's age be C

Then Holly's is: C + 70

We then get: C + 70 - 7 = 3(C - 7)

C + 63 = 3C - 21

C - 3C = - 21 - 63

- 2C = - 84
