Question 1095083: Alice is 6 years older than Lois. In two years Alice will be twice as old as Lois. How old are they now?
Answer by greenestamps(13198) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The difference in their ages will always be 6. If in two years Alice will be twice as old as Lois, and the difference in their ages then is 6 years, then their ages in two years must be 12 and 6. So their current ages are 10 and 4.
