Obviously, it was (M-Y) years ago.
So, your first equation is
M = 3*(Y-(M-Y)). (1)
Now, when "you will be my age" ? - Obviously, in (M-Y) years.
Therefore, your second equation is
(M + (M-Y)) + (Y + (M-Y)) = 13370. (2)
The rest is just a technique.
Answer. M = 5730, Y = 3820.
