J+A+4 = 62
J+A = 58
J = 58-A

J-3 = 3(A-3) SUBSTITUTE FOR J
58-A-3 = 3A-9
55-A = 3A-9 Add A and 9 to both sides
64 = 4A
A = 16
Ali is 16 and Juma is:
J = 58-A = 58-16 = 42
