sooo easy:
twice is the same at two times or we can write it as 2 x
brother = 2 x you
In 10 years:
brother+10 = (you+10)+13 substitute for brother:
(2 x you)+10 = you+10+13 subtract 10 on both sides of the equation sign
2you = you+13 subtract you on both sides
you = 13

check:
your brother: 13 x 2 = 26
in 10 years:
13+10 = 26+10
23 = 36
and 36-23 = 13 correct, in 10 years brother will be 13 years older.
