i believe rs 10 lakh is equal to 1,000,000 rupees.
the wife gets 1/10 of that, so the wife gets 100,000 rupees.
there are 900,000 rupees left.
this is divided among the 2 sons and 1 daughter.
each son gets 2 times the amount the daughter gets.
let s = the share each son gets and let d = the share the daughter gets.
2s + d = 900,000 rupees.
since s = 2d, this formula becomes 4d + d = 900,000 rupees.
this becomes 5d = 900,000 rupees.
divide both sides by 5 to get d = 180,000 rupees.
each son gets double this, so each son gets 360,000 rupees.
wife gets 100,000 rupees
daughter gets 180,000 rupees
two sons get 360,000 rupees each for a total of 720,000 rupees.
total rupees dispersed equals 1,000,000.
