x-15=2(y-15)
x-15=2y-30
x=2y-15

Present:
x=1.5y
.
1.5y=2y-15
0=0.5y-15
15=0.5y
30=y
.
ANSWER: You are 30 years old.

I am 30 years-old.
Mom is 45 year-old. Who writes these problems? Why write a problem that shows a "girl" being a mother at 15?
