Question 1043784: Not sure how to put this in an equation form.
The sum of Sharon's age an John's age is 70. John is 4 times as old as Sharon.
If you let s=Sharon age on the x axis and j=johns age on the y axis then the problem can be represented by a system of equations.
I don't really need help with the equations, just with getting the word problem into the equation. Thank you!
