So Bobby is 13 years old a year ago because 39/3=13
subtract three and you would get 10
so 10 is the age of Chris from last year
if you add 1 to both ages, you will get their ages for this year
13+1=14
so Bobby is 14 years old
10+1=11
so Chris is 11 years old
Bobby=14
Chris=11
