You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Henry sold 120 magazine subscriptions in x+2 days. If he sold at the same rate for another week, then how many magazines did he sell in the extra week?
:
The no. of mags sold per day:
120/((x+2))
:
No. of mags sold in 7 days (the extra week):
7*120/((x+2)) = 840/((x+2))
:
:
You can prove this to yourself, let x = 2
120/4 = 30 mags per day
In one week: 7 * 30 = 210
:
Using our solution:
840/4 = 210
