Cindy's phone company charges 20 CENTS for each minute of a call. She was charged a total of $14.40 for calls in the month of july, how many minutes had she used the phone that month.
This is all I got
july = 31 days

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Well, your second part was correnct.
Since Cindy is charged twenty cents per call, you just need to divide her total charges for the month by the cost per minute.

14.40/0.20

Which gives us a solution of 72 minutes. You are absolutely correct, but since we're only being asked for the number of minutes, that is independent from the number of days in the month so the first part can be discarded.

Great work! It turns out you didn't need help at all! :)
