Multiply both sides by +8d+
+5d+=+72+
+d+=+14.4+
--------------
Now you can say:
+5%2F8+=+11%2Fd+
+5d+=+88+
+d+=+17.6+
---------------
This should work also:
+9%2F14.4+=+11%2Fd+
Multiply both sides by +14.4d+
+9d+=+158.4+
+d+=+17.6+
