I think you mistyped and the last term should be 67, not 77

Start with 1, then

1. Add 1, get 2.
2. Multiply by 3, get 6.

1. Add 1, get 7.
2. Multiply by 3, get 21.

1. Add 1, get 22.
2. Multiply by 3, get 66.   <--(not 76)

1. Add 1, get 67.
2. Multiply by 3, get 201.
